What does this tool do?
Image Studio turns your real car photos into a set of clean, studio-style images. You
upload photos of the actual vehicle, and the pipeline generates standardised angles
(front, rear, side, etc.) placed in a consistent studio scene.
Quick start
-
Enter the vehicle details — model, year, and colour. Use the
VIN/rego lookup to pre-fill if available.
-
Drop your photos — any number of photos from any angle. The
tool labels them automatically. At minimum, you need a clear front three-quarter
shot (this sets the colour for the whole set).
-
Hit Generate — the pipeline runs on the server and takes
15–20 minutes for a full set. You can leave the tab open or come back later.
-
Review results — each angle gets a quality check. Green means
approved. If something looks off, use the Regen button on that angle.
Reference packs
A reference pack is a saved set of photos for a model. If one already exists, the
studio uses it for geometry (body shape, headlights, trim) and your uploaded photos
for colour. You can add your photos to the pack to improve it for future generations.
-
No pack yet? Your uploaded photos create one automatically when you
generate.
-
Pack exists? You can view it, add missing angles, or set a
different primary photo.
-
Pack usage controls the mix — "Photos first" uses your
uploads wherever possible and only fills gaps from the pack.
Frequently asked questions
How many photos do I need?
One clear front three-quarter photo is the minimum. The more angles you cover, the
better the results. Two to four photos (front, rear, side) gives a strong set.
Can I regenerate just one angle?
Yes. Each result card has a Regen button that regenerates only that
angle without re-running the whole set.
What do the quality check verdicts mean?
Approved = passed all checks. Escalated = a judge
flagged something (expand the judge to see why). Unrendered = the
angle was not generated, usually because photos or pack data were missing.
Does this cost anything?
Each generation uses AI image credits. A full four-angle set costs roughly four
credits. Single-angle regeneration costs one. Credits are shared across the team.
What photo quality do I need?
Standard phone photos work fine. Avoid heavy filters, extreme angles, or photos
where the car is mostly hidden. Good lighting and a clear view of the body panels
give the best results.
What is the auto-label toggle?
When enabled, the tool uses a vision model to identify which angle each photo shows
(front, rear, side, etc.) and labels it automatically. You can always change the
label manually.
Can I use this for interior photos?
Interior generation is coming soon. The type selector will show "Interior" once the
pipeline is ready. For now, interior photos you upload are carried through as-is.
